After admitting that "tens of millions" of user data were accessed by the Cambridge Analytica consulting firm, which could influence the 2016 presidential elections in the United States, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Wednesday night, in an interview with the American network CNN that wants to guarantee the integrity of the elections in Brazil and in India.

"There is a big election in Brazil, there are big elections around the world. You can bet we are very committed to doing everything we can to ensure the integrity of these elections on Facebook," said Zuckerberg. In the interview, the executive also spoke about the importance of fighting false news and said he was "happy" if he had to testify in the US Congress about the scandal, but only "if I'm the right person to go."
